This is a strong Tier 1 main contractor known for delivering a range of projects that span across high rise commercial multi storey projects, hotels and large structural projects. They have a strong pipeline of future projects, above $150M. They are now in the market for a Structures Project Manager for Structures Senior Site Manager to take responsibility for project managing concrete, falsework and form working and steel construction for one of their major projects.
Role:
You will take ownership for in delivering the structural phase of one of their major commercial builds under construction.
This role encompasses all aspects of on-site structures project delivery so ideally you will have experience working for a Tier 2 or Tier 1 main contractor on expansive commercial structural projects. You will be providing clear direction and leadership to the on site team and attending weekly meetings.
Background:
- You will have proven project track record on delivery of high rise multi story projects across concrete/steel, precast, earthworks and piling
- Ideally carpentry trade qualified
- Knowledge of formwork systems, particularly Jump form
- Strong abilities in being able to manage all sub contractors, and site staff to achieve best project outcomes.
- Good knowledge of computer applications
- Thorough understanding of the construction industry
- Must have a strong understanding of Health & Safety
- The flexibility and ability to adapt to a changing work environment are essential
- The ability to work to tight deadlines
