We’re seeking a competent Supply Chain Specialist with the ability to drive change to join one of New Zealand’s leading healthcare providers.

As the Supply Chain Specialist, you will work within a wider team to manage inventory and supply chain functions across the organisation. This will include but is not limited to catalogue and preference card management, inventory lists and stock management, prostheses logistics coordination, barcode system and stock take coordination.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing all aspects of the Group catalogues for both Australia and New Zealand
  • Ensuring that supplies and inventory ordering systems are maintained and functioning
  • Ensuring inventory levels within the facilities are managed at appropriate levels
  • Managing the inventory lists and surgical preference lists within Webpas
  • Supporting the Warehousing teams on a daily basis with logistics and supply related issues
  • Managing and coordinate the stocktaking function in conjunction with the finance team
  • Reporting on supply chain and logistics issues within the business, using data analytics
You’ll bring to this role:
  • Proven experience and knowledge of supply chain and logistics within a multifunctional organisation
  • Proven experience of working with multiple different supply chain systems, including financial ordering and barcode scanning systems
  • Proven data analytic skills, must be able to use excel at an intermediate level
  • Be competent in relationship management of all stakeholders within a business environment
  • Knowledge of Hospital products and Services offered within the Healthcare setting (desirable but not essential)
  • CIPS accreditation desirable
  • Ability to travel both locally and internationally if required.
