I am currently recruiting for an experienced Systems Accountant, for a Permanent role based in Johnsonville. Join a large team, with plenty of career growth opportunities in a well-established organisation.
- Review and evaluate financial systems, practices and policies
- Eliminate poor performing systems and practices, devising improved replacement systems
- Ensure key systems processes are maintained, including close periods, ensuring data feeds are running and scheduled outputs are delivered
- Act as an SME on financial and related systems, translating between system providers and the business users
The Systems Accountant will also be involved in ongoing project work, as new processes and better technology emerge, they will be a large part of imparting advancements and change. Other parts of the role include design and implementation of internal systems controls, as well as quality assurance of financial data.
We are Looking For:
- Experience with systems development and financial systems, with broad knowledge of accounting systems, particularly TechOne
- Experience working in both Project and BAU environments, as well as communicating and influencing senior stakeholders
- Advanced skills across the MS Suite, particularly Excel
- A degree in Commerce/Business/Accounting or IT is preferred
