About the Role
You’ll take ownership of a core service platform built on Dynamics 365 Customer Service and the Power Platform, supporting enquiry, complaint, and service delivery processes.This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical capability with sound judgement and enjoys working directly within platforms rather than managing delivery. You will work closely with business teams to design, build, and continuously improve systems that have a real-world impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and building solutions in Dynamics 365 Customer Service
- Developing workflows, automations, and integrations using Power Platform
- Configuring entities, forms, relationships, and system logic
- Building plugins, extensions, and custom components where required
- Creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reporting models
- Troubleshooting issues and improving system performance
- Managing and prioritising the system enhancement backlog
- Translating business needs into effective technical solutions
- Developing and maintaining system documentation and user guidance
- Working closely with stakeholders to improve processes and system use
- Managing and quality assuring vendor delivery
What We’re Looking For
- At least two years hands-on Dynamics 365 experience
- Proven experience configuring and building CRM solutions
- Strong experience with Power Platform including Power Apps and Power Automate
- Experience developing plugins, integrations, or custom components
- Strong Power BI capability including data modelling and dashboard development
- Experience supporting case management or workflow-driven systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Confidence working directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative environment
Ideally, You’ll Also Bring
- Experience working in public sector or service delivery environments
- Understanding of privacy, data governance, or audit requirements
- Familiarity with integrated document generation tools
- Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in practice
