As part of the Team:
•Provide Microsoft Server OS and Application implementation and support, including cloud services.
•Microsoft Desktop OS and Application support.
•Data centre infrastructure hardware support; Server, Storage, Network and Backup media – Cisco\HP \DELL\NetApp etc.
•General Corporate end user support and Technical fault analysis, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
•Implementing solutions, including new or enhanced systems, technology, or infrastructure.


Key skills and qualifications:

•One major certification such as MSP, MCSE, CNE, VCP, CCEA or Cisco Certification or equivalent qualification
•Technical involvement in large / medium scale projects.
•Microsoft Server and desktop OS and Application implementation and support, including cloud services
•Core Microsoft technologies (AD, Printing, DHCP, DNS)
•Cloud technologies (Office365, Exchange Online, Azure and AWS)
•Virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMWare, Hyper-V).
•Storage technologies (SAN, DAS, NAS)
•Data protection, backup and recovery (Veeam, Commvault, Shadow Protect, ASR etc)
•Microsoft application knowledge would be beneficial, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint and Teams
•Platform monitoring and management e.g. SCCM and SCOM
•Windows deployment and patching
•PowerShell scripting, process automation
