Beyond Recruitment are currently working on a Systems Support Engineer role at this independent government agency in Wellington.

In this role you will be reporting to the Systems Manager in a team of around 4, in an organisation of around 60 people.

This is an applications/software focused support role, and the primary purposes of the role include; understanding how users gain value from business systems, conjuring applications based on user needs, providing level 1 and 2 application support, as well as incident management and problem resolution.

To be successful in this role, you will have;

  • At least a couple of years’ experience in a systems/application support role
  • Incident & problem Management experience
  • Experience working with vendors/support providers and internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong administration experience in Microsoft applications – ideally incl. Dynamics CRM, Office65, SharePoint
  • Aware of and exposure to Cloud technologies
  • Ideally some SQL experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisation, and a collaborative, adaptable approach
