• 6- month Fixed Term contract
• Auckland CBD (3 days onsite, 2 WFH)

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst or Technical Writer to play a key role in uplifting the operational maturity of a complex ICT environment. You will be comfortable developing and enhancing critical technical documentation, improving processes, and supporting strategic planning across infrastructure and service delivery domains, ideally with hands-on experience in disaster recovery and infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and enhance technical documentation to improve operational maturity, consistency, and service quality,
• Define and embed Disaster Recovery (DR) processes and documentation for enterprise applications, ensuring they are robust, repeatable, and audit-ready,
• Work closely with stakeholders,
• Develop, document, and promote technical infrastructure standards across Networks and Infrastructure domains,
• Support the creation of 3–5 year technology roadmaps covering key infrastructure areas such as Networks, Data Centres, and Platforms
• Develop best-practice documentation and processes,
• Facilitate workshops, presentations, and training sessions to ensure adoption and alignment across teams.

To be considered you must:

• Have 7-8 years’ experience in ICT technical or instructional writing
• Have a background in Disaster Recovery
• Have prior experience producing clear, structured documentation for technical, operational or business audiences
• Hold certification in ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, or other relevant continuous improvement methodologies
