Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a major Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) programme for a key client. You’ll play a critical role in a fast-paced SAP environment, helping define how risk capabilities are delivered across the organisation.
This is a 6-month fixed-term opportunity based in Wellington, with an urgent start and strong potential for extension, suited to someone who thrives in delivery-focused, time-critical work.

What you’ll be doing
- Engage with technical stakeholders to understand SAP ECC components
- Run workshops to define solutions and capture technical requirements
- Produce high-quality technical specifications to support programme delivery
- Analyse system impacts across integrations and end-to-end data flows
- Present outputs to architecture and governance forums
- SAP batch jobs, programs, and service accounts
- Process chains and underlying data structures
- Integration points including SAP Cloud Connector
- Identity and access management (IDM/IAM) models
- Finance and cost centre data flows
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in complex environments
- Hands-on experience with SAP (particularly ECC)
- Strong technical impact analysis skills (data flows, integrations, dependencies)
- Ability to facilitate workshops and drive outcomes
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Exposure to Identity & Access Management (IAM/IDM)
- Data governance or data analysis experience
- Experience in risk-focused or enterprise transformation programmes
