  • 3 months contract with potential to extend
  • Auckland CBD – 3 days in the office
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a large, complex organisation undergoing significant business and technology transformation.

The initiative is focused on improving how customers/users engage with the organisation by enabling them to connect through their preferred channels, including web, voice, chat and email.

This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, SMEs and programme stakeholders to understand business needs, analyse current capabilities and help shape future-state solutions.

About You
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who brings:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst within large, complex enterprise environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and workshop facilitation skills
  • Excellent requirements-gathering and documentation capability
  • Experience producing business requirements, process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria and other BA artefacts
  • Strong technical analysis experience across areas such as CRM, systems integration, data modelling, contact centre technologies, identity and access, reporting and analytics
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced programme environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate workshops and gather, analyse and document business requirements.
  • Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps and other BA artefacts.
  • Analyse current-state processes, systems and capabilities, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Map business services, customer journeys, channels and touchpoints.
  • Work with Solution and Enterprise Architects to support future-state architecture and process design.
  • Contribute to solution option analysis, vendor evaluations and assessment of potential solutions.
