We’re excited to be assisting an FMCG company with the recruitment of a Territory Manager to look after Christchurch through Hamner Springs Territory. You will take responsibility for the health & beauty division across pharmacies, supermarkets and department stores. (You must reside within the territory to apply).

The role reports to the National Sales Manager. You must have sound knowledge of grocery and ideally experience across pharmacy and department stores.
This role will be ‘on the road’ and require someone who can take initiative and work autonomously around KPIs.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • You would be responsible for a geographical territory which includes Christchurch, Ashburton, Kaikoura, and through to Hamner Springs.

  • A wide and growing set of very successful brands

  • Visiting existing retailers within your territory

  • Merchandising stock - upselling and cross-selling

  • Journey planning & reporting

  • Setting up stores, compliance, relays

  • Total territory management including call cycles, planning & ensuring profitable growth.

To be successful you will need:

  • Experience working as a Territory Manager

  • Experience working in merchandising & territory sales within FMCG Grocery/Health & beauty

  • Customer Service experience

  • Good communication skills

  • Experience working in a role with KPI's or Sales

  • Ambitious with a great outgoing personality

  • High energy and physically fit

You are someone who can build relationships quickly and can get across the range of activities involved in the role including window and in-store displays. You will have effective communication skills, regularly liaising with HO and the National Sales Manager.
