Job Description
We’re working with a public sector client on an exciting opportunity for a Test Manager to join a large-scale Enterprise Resource Management (ERM) programme on a fixed term contract through to June 2027.
This programme is focused on upgrading core HR, payroll, and workforce management systems that underpin frontline operations. It’s a key role for someone who enjoys working in complex environments, bringing structure to large-scale testing, and building confidence across stakeholders through quality delivery.
About the Role
You’ll take ownership of the testing function across a major ERP/ERM implementation, working closely with programme teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure everything is thoroughly tested and ready for go-live.
This role is well suited to someone who can balance strategy with hands-on delivery, and who is confident leading testing across multiple workstreams.
What You’ll Be Doing

Leading the end-to-end testing strategy and delivery

Managing SIT, UAT, and integration testing phases

Overseeing testing across HR, payroll, and workforce management systems

Ensuring strong test coverage and timely defect resolution

Tracking risks, issues, dependencies, and overall test readiness

Providing clear reporting and updates to stakeholders and leadership

Coordinating across delivery teams, business units, and vendors

Strengthening testing practices, governance, and delivery discipline
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience delivering testing for large-scale ERP or ERM programmes

Strong background as a Test Manager in complex transformation environments

Experience managing multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly

Strong risk, issue, and defect management capability

A practical, delivery-focused approach with strong attention to detail
Ideally, You’ll Also Bring

Experience working with SAP environments

Exposure to public sector or highly regulated environments

Familiarity with a range of testing tools and delivery methodologies
