Job Description
We're seeking an experienced Test Manager to support the delivery of a large-scale enterprise transformation programme. This is a Wellington-based 12-month fixed-term opportunity, offering the chance to lead testing across a complex programme environment and play a key role in ensuring successful delivery, quality outcomes, and business readiness.
Working closely with business, technical, and vendor stakeholders, you'll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all phases of testing across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage testing strategies, plans, and schedules across multiple workstreams
Lead System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and end-to-end testing activities
Coordinate testing across business, technical, and vendor teams
Manage defect tracking, resolution, and reporting
Identify testing risks, dependencies, and issues, ensuring they are effectively managed
Work closely with change, training, and business readiness teams to support successful implementation
Promote testing best practice and quality assurance standards throughout the programme
Skills and Experience
Demonstrated experience leading testing functions for large-scale technology or business transformation programmes
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, frameworks, and tools
Experience managing complex integration and end-to-end testing environments
Proven stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Experience working with enterprise platforms such as ERP, HR, payroll, or finance systems
Strong problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making capability
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences
Desirable Experience
Experience working on ERP or Enterprise Resource Management implementations
Background working within large and complex organisations
Exposure to cloud-based platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, or Workday
Relevant testing certification, such as ISTQB
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline
Significant experience delivering testing services within large enterprise environments
