The Company:

The client company is 100% New Zealand owned and operated and has been integral to New Zealand’s beverage distribution sector, creating business partnerships with globally renowned brands, facilitating their product movement into New Zealand.

About the Role:

For the role as Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the operational functions of the business’ warehousing facility, including inwards goods, stock management, dispatch and H&S.

  • This will include the training and management of 20 staff and 2 team supervisors.
  • You will also be tasked with maintaining key stakeholders’ relationships both within and outside of the business in order to maximise the operational efficiencies of the facility.
  • Please note, this position is for the afternoon shift, which will operate from 2:30pm – 12:00am.
  • You will report into the National Distribution Manager.

About you:

For the successful applicant, the following attributes and experience would be necessary:

  • Experience and skilled in People Management and NZ employment working standards
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in warehousing
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Experience working in a fast paced and busy environment
  • Highly motivated 
  • Strong work ethic and enthusiastic Team leader mentality
