  • Hourly rate contractor, 3-6 months, ASAP start
  • South Auckland location
Opportunity for 2-3 Ways of Working/Agile coaches to join an enterprise level, complex matrix organisation undergoing an operating model change.

We are looking for an experienced Agile/Change/ways of working contractor with proven experience in leading ways of working/agile at an intermediate/senior levels.

The Ways of Working Coach enables effective prioritisation, delivery performance and continuous improvement by coaching executive/senior leaders and teams in ways of working, facilitating organisational rhythms, and driving accountability for outcomes.

Reporting to the Head of Ways of Working, the role provides hands-on coaching and facilitation support to Value Streams, domains, centres of excellence (CoEs), platforms and practices.

The contractor will help teams improve planning, prioritisation, coordination, flow, dependency management and delivery accountability, while building capability in modern ways of working and a stronger performance culture.

  • Value stream and team coaching
  • Prioritisation and planning facilitation
  • Delivery accountability and performance rhythms
  • Cross functional collaboration and dependency management
  • Ways of working adoption and mindset shift
  • Health checks and continuous improvement
  • Insight led improvement actions
  • Performance culture reinforcement

Key Experience and Skills:
  • Ideally a Certified Scrum Master, Product Owner or holder of a relevant Agile certification, and/or certified professional coach 
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Strong Lean, Agile and continuous improvement capability
  • Systems thinker who understands how to unlock flow and throughput, reduce cycle times
  • Can influence 
  • Insight-led mindset
