Finance Administrator – 6 month fixed term contract

  • Utilise your small business finance administration knowledge
  • Corporate organisation located in Wellington CBD
  • Two 6 month fixed term contract roles available
  • Opportunity to learn new skills and work as part of a service driven team
  • Salary up to $50K depending on experience

We are seeking enthusiastic, bright and technically savvy accounts administrators for two fixed term contract roles available for 6 months starting as soon as possible.  Due to growth in the business, our client requires an additional resource to join their finance team and assist with a range of financial administration tasks.  You will be able to utilise your general accounting knowledge and learn new skills. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with Payroll administration
  • Data entry of invoices
  • Weekly reporting
  • Responding to queries via email and phone

There is the opportunity to develop further skills in general accounting practices as the business goes through technology changes and looks to provide effective and efficient services to their customers.


To be successfully considered for the fixed term contract roles you will need to demonstrate the following competencies and attributes:

  • Proven general accounts administration knowledge (2-3 years minimum)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Accurate data processing skills
  • Technically savvy – intermediate knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to pick up systems quickly
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Willing attitude to learn new skills and gain new experience
