Our client is heavily involved in the design, build and project management of cost effective infrastructure solutions to the telecommunications, water, power, and gas sectors.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Field Manager is responsible for the onsite operational aspects of the project, including team management and ensuring cost, quality and delivery requirements are met in addition to ensuring the company's HS&E policies and processes are adhered to.

Key responsibilities are summarised as follows:

- Management of the Project Team including subcontractors
- Review projects daily to monitor progress, compliance and cost
- Interpret and explain plans and technical information to staff and contractors
- Liaise with stakeholders regarding changes and/or modifications to contractual agreements
- Organise supplies and materials for projects
- Plan for and manage all risk including delays, weather or emergencies
- Health & Safety Management, including incident investigation, reporting and recording
- Stakeholder Management (internal & external)

Success in this role will require the following skills and experience:

- Proven site/field management experience in underground infrastructure (horizontal drilling an advantage)
- Relevant Qualification in Engineering or Construction (preferred)
- Effective communication skills (written & verbal)
- Ability to build strong stakeholder engagement
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organised and self motivated
- The ability to solve problems and think quickly on your feet
