This NZ owned developer with a focus on mixed use commercial development projects have a full work load into 2017. They also have a construction arm to the business focussing on servicing some of their internal projects for their large commercial properties and as well as new builds.
Reporting to the Construction Project Manager, overall this role would see you managing complex construction works between $2M and $10M in value and from footings to handover. Your main tasks will involve
- Supervising and coordinating sub-contractors
- Overseeing material ordering
- Developing and implementing short-term programs of work
- Monitor and review programs to ensure time requirements are met
- Consulting with sub-contractors and consultants to resolve construction and design issues
To be a success in this role, you have experience in the NZ construction market and understand the industry with experience ideally coming from multi-residential and/or retail with a well run main contractor. A carpentry trade background is a must with good finishing skill. You have ability to plan, coordinate and manage sub-contractors as well as ability to interpret drawings. Being a self starter is essential.

Salary on offer $100K - $110K + a vehicle depending on your level of experience.
