Your new Sales Manager role is that of Coach, Leader, Mentor, Enabler and Accountability Partner. Firstly you will need to get to know your new team and learn and understand the business. You will achieve Sales results using your proven and successful leadership and coaching skills to develop a team of high achievers. And you will ensure you have a sales team that is well trained and focussed on their portfolio in order to achieve results. Identifying key traits in your team including achievement drive, resilience and coachability will be key to ensuring you have a successful formula to work with. Equally important is identifying those who are lacking these non-trainable traits and ensuring you hire for future success.
To be considered for this role you will bring proven experience in a Regional Sales Management role where you can demonstrate achievements and success. You are someone who has a desire to see people achieve their best, ability to engage and inspire, hold people accountable and celebrate their success. You will also play a key part in helping drive the strategy with SME businesses in Wellington. Delivering an outstanding customer experience and strategic positioning of the value proposition is the main focus of your and your teams role.
