This organisation is a New Zealand owned one. It is one of the largest in the country, and one of the most successful, and as such is a household name.

They employ about 2,000 people who are based in offices around New Zealand. This particular role is based in the Wellington office, where they have about 500 people working.

About the Role

This is a Reporting Analyst position. You will be part of a wider team of 10 people who have various other analysis roles that they carry out, and who support the larger overall team, but you will be the 'go to' person for all of the immediate group's reporting needs.

The position is a varied one, and will have you involved in both developing and running reports. Some are regular daily/weekly/monthly reports and some will be special, on-request ones.

Once you have a good understanding of the role, they will welcome your input on how to enhance and improve the data input and allocation with the goal of providing improved reporting outcomes, so it will be a great opportunity for you to make a real contribution.

The work will be a combination of project based activity and business-as-usual, so you can be sure you will never be bored! You need to have really good skills in the use of Excel and Access as these are the main tools they use for their reporting activity.

ALSO - they are planning on introducing a dedicated reporting tool within the next 6 months or so. So you will get full training and exposure to that (as yet unchosen) system once it is implemented in to the workplace.
