Our client, an established and respected player in the architectural hardware space is seeking an experienced Account Manger to join their passionate team.

__The job:__

- Building solid relationships with Architects and Group Home Builders aiming to gain specification of company's products
- Managing a portfolio of clients in a designated territory, predominately Auckland
- Calling on a range of Retailers is a small component
- Developing new business with existing clients and new clients
- Carrying out a variety of reporting and ability to forecast
- Work with internal stakeholders on an ongoing basis
- Keeping update with product knowledge

_The successful candidate:_

- Have approximately 5 years experience within the Building/Construction sector is ideal
- Has built relationships across a variety of channels
- Proven success in a collaborative business to business relationship
- Ability to work well autonomously yet be an active member of a national team
- Target driven and highly self motivated
- Be highly customer centric and can build rapport quickly
- Smartly presented and able to deal up and down the ladder
- Have strong family values
