Started in Auckland, this company now supports customers and integrators for call center and multi-channel operations customers worldwide. With a growth in the adoption of its customers, they are looking to add a Senior Support Engineer to take ownership for the resolution of complex issues.
__ The Role __
Within the Support organisation, in this role you will drive the development and implementation of technology solutions to address issues experienced by customers and partners. To do so, you will work together with internal technical teams and, in certain instances, vendors of underlying technologies. Over and above responding to issues, you will contribute your experience in the training of Support staff, and will share your knowledge in various ways, to continually streamline support operations.
___ The Ideal Person __
In order to positively impact the resolution of issues in this role, you will need to bring significant experience in both .Net and IP-based telephony solutions, as well as a proven track record in Support:
* Experience supporting PBX and / or contact center solutions in general
* Ideally, specific expertise in Microsoft or NEC or Avaya or Cisco unified communications products
* 4+ years experience in support, of which at least 18 months with the type of solutions above
* A calm, organised and customer-focuses personality
* Strong enough English to coordinate with team members, customers and vendors
