This week I had the pleasure of going to the Beyond Recruitment breakfast forum at AUT, hosted by our CE Liza Viz and representatives from the Beyond Recruitment Accounting, Finance & Financial Services and Procurement & Supply Chain Teams.
Our guests included senior Procurement and Finance executives across a broad representation of our client sectors, and we were fortunate enough to host Shamubeel Eaqub as our guest speaker; who provided some great insights into the New Zealand economy. He also shared some of the challenges we can expect in the short to medium term, particularly in Auckland, where we are faced with some unique challenges particularly across housing, employment, and migration.
This prompted some excellent and welcome discussion across the group, and left us with plenty to think about.
