It was a pleasure to recently host a number of Property, Architecture & Construction professionals for breakfast with our specialist Auckland team.

Leading Economist and commentator, Shamubeel Eaqub, gave an insightful presentation on both the Auckland and National economies, and how the uneven and unusual recession recovery has left many leading business professionals unable to follow historic trends in order to forecast, resulting in new challenges they have not previously faced.

His presentation prompted a robust discussion about a range of topics, including housing affordability and availability (particularly here in Auckland), immigration and our skilled workforce, the Unitary Plan and the resulting effect on our economy.
