In the lead-up to Christmas, our Beyond Recruitment Auckland team took part in the Auckland City Mission’s "Santa’s Helpers Appeal”, with Gabrielle Allsop, one of our Auckland Recruitment Consultants, co-ordinating an office collection of goodies for the City Mission for the second year in a row.
We supported this wonderful initiative by bringing in donations of non-perishable food and new unwrapped Christmas gifts for adults and kids. The City Mission came in last week and collected 2 boxes of toys and 2 boxes of food kindly donated by our team.
In 2016, organisations like ours helped the Mission to distribute 8,000 gifts to children in our community, as well as thousands of emergency food parcels, and put on an unforgettable Christmas Lunch for 2,000 guests.
Together, we have helped to make a wonderful Christmas for struggling Auckland families, and look forward to doing so again in 2018.
