​Where I’m from: I live in Nelson.

My professional background: I have 25 years in the Recruitment Agency world – still lovin’ it! Various earlier careers ranging from bicycle salesman to professional drummer.

Why I’m passionate about my team at Beyond Recruitment: We have a great team here and it’s great to be involved in what people are doing. I’ve always tried to keep close to the action and enjoy sitting in the middle of the floor and hearing all the great placements being made!

What not many people know about me: I used to play in a band with Russell Crowe, but I left as I did not think he’d have a future in the entertainment industry.

What I love about Aotearoa, New Zealand: The music, the wine, the food and the outdoors – I indulge in all of these often!

What I love about Beyond Recruitment: After almost 20 years in the business I still love the same things – our wonderful team, our super supportive clients and candidates, and being a flexible kiwi company that cares.  We give a lot back and that’s awesome too. I also like the fact we have a supermarket in our building now – it’s life changing!
