Where I’m from: Colombo, Sri Lanka. My professional background: I have worked in Recruitment for 8 years and covered areas across Sales & Marketing, Finance, IT, Human Resources, Risk Management, Customer Services and Business Support. With my educational background in Human Resources and Business Management I am able to understand the importance of having quality candidates and building good relationships. After moving to New Zealand I worked in IT for 4 years and this has definitely given me an added advantage when it comes to attracting the right talent. Why I’m passionate about my role at Beyond Recruitment: I get to learn new things daily and no two days are the same. Getting the opportunity to be updated on new technologies, market information speaking to candidates and being able to find their dream job is extremally satisfying. The support we get from the management in providing resources (such as market information and training) for us to do our jobs is truly appreciated.
