We are seeking an Application Architect for a long contract role with a large utilities sector client. This role will be responsible for the design, development and evolution of application and system architecture for the organisation, working on projects across software, storage, and both on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
To be successful for this position you will require a blend of the following:
- Ability to design applications which involve breaking the monolithic into microservices
- Experience with Design / Modelling Tools
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and system life cycle management
- Experience with Virtualisation, Citrix, Windows and Linux, Networks, Firewalls and security infrastructure
- Knowledge of Git / TFS, Ansible and programming languages (C# and/or Java) is essential
- Openshift/Docker, Oracle, Atlassian Tools, Elastic search, Grafana, Nagios / ADDM, and IntelliJ are a bonus
