The role
Our client is looking for a dynamic and results driven Business Development Manager to join the team.
The role and your efforts are key to expanding their client base in New Zealand. Currently working with both large and smaller organisations and some key exclusive contracts. The opportunity is to really grow the New Zealand base by working with key stakeholders and new prospects to drive the company’s overall growth and success.
The business has a strong strategy and is a high referral business. There are leads ready to attack. Ideally you will be currently involved in the commercial cleaning and facilities sector and will be able to leverage industry contacts.
Key experience for this role will include:
- The ability to identify new business opportunities in the commercial cleaning and facilities management sector
- Previous experience in the facilities and commercial cleaning sector
- Tertiary qualification in business, commerce or similar
- Ability to write business proposals and review tender documents & contracts
- Presentation skills
- Strong relationship and business development strategy and execution
- Pricing, quoting and negotiation
- Proficient Computer skills across the MS office suite
- Marketing capability: the ability to help identify new ways of taking products to the market via the website and other social channels
- Working closely with the director to identify and pursue new business opportunities
