This large organisation has a significant volume of work, they are experiencing exponential growth driven across the residential sector with a big push in bringing to market the delivery of multiple homes and communities for NZers. Due to this ongoing level of work, there is a requiremnets for driven and smart project managers to join the team on a contract basis for 6 months initially with high likelihood of going permanent.
The opportunity would see you managing around $20M worth of more high volume residential density programmes. You will be working with a main contractors whilst working in a best practice environment with first class systems and disciplines. You will be involved in the while lifecycle of the project from the construction phase, having responsibility for QA/risk, financial and stakeholder reporting, budget management, programming, defects list, remedial works. You will be involved in addressing any RMA issues.
As a project manager, you will need to come from a construction consultancy background or a contractor background where you have been running or assisting in running multi residential builds as a Project Manager. Most of your 8+ years of NZ based experience has been involving working on projects involving high volume residential or commercial/residential in a consultancy por client side environment. A tertiary qualification in Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Building Science, or Engineering is essential.
You will be rewarded with a salary between $120K and $150K pending experience pro rata or $70 - $80 per hour.
