I am currently recruiting for a Permanent Payroll Advisor, for an exciting opportunity, based in Wellington CBD.
Duties Include:
- End-to-end Payroll processing, running main pays, processing taxation, superannuation and relevant pay reports
- Prioritise and manage workflow and deadlines to ensure that all timings are achieved and the fortnightly pay runs are processed in a timely manner
- Process payroll information into relevant HR systems, accurately to ensure all payments are made to employees on time and accurately
- Establish and maintain electronic employee master files, ensuring all relevant documents meet audit requirements
- Continuous improvement, to ensure enhanced service delivery across the team and wider business
Desired Experience:
- 5+ years experience in a Payroll BAU position, running end-to-end pay for a large organisation
- Previous experience using Ascender Pay, with a good ability to train and mentor others using this system
- A desire for career progression, with an ability to support the Payroll Manager as a 2IC
- Leadership experience in a Payroll environment. is preferred
