This is a reputable and well-resourced residential group home builder are planning further expansion supported by solid residential construction activity. They are part of a group and their client portfolio consists of a range of private developers as well as their own developments, clients with D&B standalone housing and Kainga Ora developments. They actively promote an inclusive team culture, encouraging various team building and social activities that go on throughout the year.
As are result of increase in workflow, a need now exists for a talented residential QS to join the team.
Your role will involve:
- Detailed budgets, estimating and cost plans/take offs/measurement
- Contract Administration
- Negotiating supplier agreements
- Undertaking variations and potential variations
- Financial project control
- Preparation and agreement of final accounts
As a successful applicant, you have a degree in quantity surveying and at least 3-8 years of quantity surveying experience in high volume residential or a mix of commercial/residential. Knowledge of building standards and NZ3604/3910 is required. You are motivated, have a high work ethic and have proven yourself so far as being reliable and one of the higher performers. You are an enthusiastic, organized, confident and are an inspired individual who enjoys developing, communicating and sharing your ideas.
This builder is looking to build a team that has focus and a long term commitment.
Salary $90K - $140K pending experience.
