I am currently recruiting for an experienced Internal Auditor, to join a busy team with a public sector client. This team plans and conducts internal audits and reports back on effectiveness and efficiency of processes. As well as making reccomendations to improve performance, accountability and effiency of the business.
Duties Include:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the internal Audit strategic audit plan and annual business plan
- Provide audit advice, reccomendations and reports to Managers
- Conduct reviews of systems as required, running end-to-end audits - from the outset to the provision of a final report for review
- Maintain registers for conflicts of interest and gifts and flag any audit issues that arise from these registers
- Work alongside external audit specialists as part of a co-sourced model for provision of internal audit services
Desired Experience:
- Experience with internal or external auditing, across the public or private sector - you must have the ability to run an end-to-end audit under guidance
- Previous experience preparing reports for review and providing final audit reports, with the confidence to hit the ground running in this area
- Ability to see the detail, as well as the big picture, with a knack for building relationships with others
