They currently have a vacancy for an applicant that has strong estimating skills and that is looking to be a lead in the BOP/Waikato business.
Working within a team and reporting to a commercial director, you will be typically working on such tasks as:
- Scheduling/estimating/pricing
- Tender preparation and analysis
- Cost management
- Subcontractor management and negotiation
- Team mentoring and management of Junior and Intermediate Estimators
Key success factors for this role require:
- A tertiary qualification in construction management or quantity surveying
- 10 years experience worked a a Senior Estimator from a Tier 1 or 2 main contractor
- Sound knowledge of the local construction market and relevant commercial construction legislation and rates
- You are helpful, possess strong ethical standards, you have a high work ethic.
- Outstanding written and oral communication
Remuneration: $170K - $180K
