We are partnering with a Blenheim based multi-disciplined engineering firm to search for a Geotechnical Engineer (intermediate or senior). Our client are proud to offer engineering, resource management, architecture and environmental solutions to their clients. You’ll be working alongside a team of down to earth professionals, working in some of the most beautiful and remote environments in NZ.
In this role, you’ll work closely with their clients to deliver high‑quality geotechnical investigations, analyses, reports, and design solutions. Work will take you across the top of the South Island, working in the Marlborough Sounds, Picton, Blenheim, Kaikoura and more! You’ll carry out site inspections and field testing, prepare technical documentation, support submissions, and contribute to design and construction methods across a range of interesting and varied projects.

You’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in geotechnical engineering
- Understanding of NZ Geotechnical report standards & NZ Wastewater standards
- Experienced in Scala Penetrometer testing, responding to RFI’s & Council requests
- Relevant tertiary education
- Strong technical skills (Excel, Word, C-Liq, Slide2, Revit/AutoCAD a bonus)
- Strong communication; client‑facing capability
- Preferably Chartered Professional Engineer registration (or working towards it)
