About the Role
As Senior Project Manager, you’ll oversee the planning, delivery, and completion of complex water infrastructure projects. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget. The role requires strong capability in civil infrastructure delivery, including pipelines, pump stations, structures, and temporary works.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of civil projects from inception to completion
- Manage project programmes, project scheduling and all commercial aspects of projects including budgets, cost reporting, cash flows, and claims management
- Oversee procurement, contract administration, and compliance
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, and subcontractors across disciplines
- Ensure health & safety, quality, and environmental standards are met
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to project teams including Site engineers, projects engineers and site teas.
About You
- 10+ years’ experience in project management within civil infrastructure or water projects
- A demonstrable career history of moving up the ranks from site engineer to project engineer and beyond
- Commercial leadership
- Experienced in design of temporary works, understanding construction plans, skilled in planning and programming
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Self-starter with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Salary: $170K - $200K pending experience
