As many of you are probably aware on 1 April the IRD rolled out changes to how Withholding Tax is approached when contractors work through a labour-hire firm. In the case of these changes, labour-hire as a category includes recruitment agencies.
To help you as a contractor or potential contractor better understand how these tax changes impact you, we have sought expert advice from Grant Thornton New Zealand.
Please note, Beyond Recruitment has an extension to the main deadline, meaning that for our contractors, these changes to Withholding Tax regulations won't take effect until the 1st of July 2017.
