Metlink/ Greater Wellington’s NTS Team – Multiple Exciting Positions

We are looking for exceptional people for these roles who want to make a real difference. We are currently recruiting the Manager Fares and Ticketing who will lead this mahi and are excited to help that person to build their team. In each of these roles, you will work closely with key decision-makers in our communities and will have considerable influence on the future direction of shaping how we respond to climate change.

Business Integration AdvisorIn this role you will lead the project management and support the implementation of one of Greater Wellington’s most significant public transport offerings in recent years. At a national level, the Business Integration Advisor will be the lynchpin in Greater Wellington’s ongoing participation in the National Ticketing Solution (NTS) project. In partnership with Waka Kotahi and the NTS service providers, you will set clear project and engagement stakeholder plans and drive the evaluation associated with NTS approaches and strategies.

Ticketing Operations Lead - Help align and prioritise Metlink activities outside of your existing team (finance, data management, operations, procurement, etc.), while also being ultimately responsible for the performance of the ticketing provider.

Product Development Lead – The lead position will be responsible for representing the customer base of nearly 300,000 to the council and project team. You will engage closely to determine down-to-the-minute details of what needs to be present in any product or service the customer will use. You will also provide a strong voice and act to influence ELT and decision-makers as to the final product. Strong stakeholder management and efficient communication are essential to this position.

You’ll be challenged to develop and apply new solutions to hard problems while benefitting from opportunities to learn, develop key skills and understand what can be achieved through a truly collaborative approach.

Duration – These are permanent positions.

Location – You’ll mostly work from Greater Wellington Regional Council’s beautiful Cuba Street offices in the heart of the city. Greater Wellington encourages autonomy and enables flexible working.
