Where I’m from: I am originally from Wellington and have also had the luxury of living in different cities in New Zealand including Dunedin, Nelson and Auckland, and working abroad in South Korea, Thailand and the UK.

My professional background: I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics, Film & TV Diploma and TESOL Certificate.  I started my career in the film industry working for a post-production company in Auckland and went on to produce documentaries, a TV series and video clips for NZ on Air and MTV Asia. I was then an English Teacher for a few years in Seoul and started working in Recruitment in the UK and have remained in that industry ever since returning home many years ago. I am passionate about helping clients find the right talent for their businesses and building long lasting relationships with my professional network.

Why I’m Passionate About my role at Beyond Recruitment: I am passionate about my role at Beyond Recruitment and am really enjoying all that I am learning. I like how our team works collaboratively to get the best results. I enjoy the search element in my role and managing new business and existing client relationships. I am passionate about helping people and get a lot of satisfaction placing great candidates into new roles.

What not many people know about me: I have been active in the music industry in New Zealand and overseas for the last 20 years and enjoy DJing and producing my own vocals and music across multiple genres. I also love travel and adventure and got my open water scuba diving license in Ko Tao (Thailand), have jumped out of a plane, bungy jumped and paraglided.

What I love about Aotearoa, New Zealand: I enjoy the festivals and celebrations we host and love the open, fun and honest culture of New Zealanders. I am often stunned at the physical beauty of various places in New Zealand and feel very proud and lucky to be a Kiwi.

What I love about Beyond Recruitment: I love the culture at Beyond Recruitment, everyone is smart, fun and professional. I have felt very welcomed since I joined the business and feel proud to work for such an awesome Recruitment agency.
