About the company:
My client is a fast-growing service-oriented business situated in South-East Auckland which assists large commercial warehousing businesses set up their facilities in the most effective and efficient ways. They provide advisory and project management services.

About the role:

In this role you will be in charge of all the incoming and outgoing invoicing in Xero as well as bank reconciliations and preparing the general ledger for month end profit and loss and balance sheet reporting. You will work closely with management in monitoring the cashflow position and with the sales team in the preparation of proposals and pitching for new work. This will suit someone who can adapt to different demands from management, wants to be involved in a fast-growing business, and who would enjoy being in an accounting position with a lot of interaction with the founder and CEO.

Duties:

  • Purchase Order creation.

  • Invoice creation.

  • AP and AP processing.

  • Cash flow reporting.

  • Balance sheet reconciliation.

  • Project accounting.

  • Month end reporting.

Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years accounting related experience.

  • Competent with Xero

  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
