About the Role
As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring customer invoices, credit notes, and payments are processed accurately and on time. This position involves managing a shared inbox, processing invoice and credit requests, reconciling accounts, and assisting with credit control. You’ll also provide exceptional customer service to both internal teams and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, credit notes, and payment allocations.
- Prepare and dispatch monthly statements to customers.
- Reconcile customer accounts and assist with debt management.
- Investigate and resolve invoice or account queries promptly.
- Contribute to process improvements and team projects.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable within a large organisation (ideally public sector experience).
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable best practices and high-volume processing.
- Proven experience using ERP systems including proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
