Role Overview:
As a Registered Architect, you will play a pivotal role in the design process, overseeing projects from conception to completion. Your responsibilities will include developing design solutions, creating detailed drawings, and navigating the intricacies of building consent documentation and Resource Consent applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design process, ensuring projects align with client expectations, budget constraints, and regulatory requirements.
- Generate precise drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation to support construction and building consent needs.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including clients, engineers, and authorities, to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Take charge of Resource Consent applications, leveraging your knowledge of New Zealand building codes and regulations.
- Provide expertise in construction documentation, maintaining a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Registered Architect status with the New Zealand Registered Architects Board.
- Proven track record of successful residential projects, with a diverse portfolio showcasing design versatility and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in industry-standard architectural software and tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
- In-depth understanding of New Zealand building codes, regulations, and Resource Consent procedures.
