This is a newly established position to grow and execute and support the New Zealand marketing plans across supermarket, grocery and retail channels for a group of key brands.
The role will see you manage 3rd party sales teams and retail relationships. In addition, the role will also support the Grocery & Health & Beauty category analysts to provide insights for management and review.
You need to have FMCG experience - Grocery or Health & Beauty to apply.
Key responsibilities will include:
Brand & Marketing Management
- Develop and execute NZ marketing plans, aligning with AU for specific brands
- Coordinate and implement NPD launches, advertising, digital, promotional, PR, sampling, retailer website initiatives etc
- Manage brand marketing budgets and trade spend for all brands
- Develop brand plans
- Maintain and strengthen retail relationships with key accounts across pharmacy & grocery
- Manage 3rd party sales teams to align with brand objectives
- Provide key selling tools, collateral, reports, cycle briefs and updates
- Prepare and deliver customer presentations including business reviews, new products proposals, category range reviews
Planning & Reporting
- Assist with annual business plans, budgeting, forecasting
- Collaborate with the Demand Planner to ensure accurate forecasting
- Monitor sales performance
- Promotional plans across all retail groups
- Provide monthly reports, up to date product information and pricing
Key to success in this role is a background in FMCG – Grocery and H&B. You will have a proven track record in the grocery and retail channels. A strong ability to negotiate, pitch and present. Analytical and commercially savvy.
