About the Role
Reporting to the Capital Works Manager, the Commercial Manager is responsible for identifying and supporting the implementation of commercial opportunities and standards across council operations, with a particular focus on the property portfolio. This will include contract negotiation strategies, property investment strategies and brokering new commercial opportunities.
What you’ll bring
- Five years minimum experience in Commercial Management with a track record of delivery.
- Hold a tertiary qualification in commerce, business, law or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate a high level of verbal and written communication skills whilst liaising with a wide variety of stakeholders such as external clients, suppliers, contractors, and peers.
- Confident and proven negotiation abilities
