I am working with a residential roofing contractor who is growing their team. They are a down-to-earth group, working exclusively in the residential market. My client has recently expanded into the Wellington market and have found they are already in need of more hands as things ramp up here in the Capital.
About the Role
You will be working in a small team on residential sites, ensuring roofing projects are completed efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a hands‑on role suited to a skilled roofer who enjoys working with a small team and delivering high‑quality work across the Wellington region. You will be involved in the installation, maintenance, and repair of metal roofing systems and ensure all work meets quality standards and is delivered within proposed deadlines.
About You
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in roofing
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems and installation methods
- Personal tools / equipment for the job
- Safety‑focused with a proactive attitude
- Reliable, organised, and a clear communicator
- Full driver’s licence (preferred)
- $28 to $35 per hour based on experience
- Stable, full‑time employment
