Looking for a role to start before Xmas or January?
Opportunity for a fixed term contract (maternity leave cover) until the end of May 2022, providing full spectrum HR advice and partering to Managers in a fast pace retail environment.
In this role you will:
- Partner with Managers to develop effective people management practices
- Be a trusted advisor, providing quality, practical HR advice to enable managers to identify and appropriately action people matters
- Develop leadership capability
- Identify areas of risk and work with the wider HR team to address these
- Support organisational change initiatives as required
Supporting across multiple workplaces, with well-known NZ brands, this role requires solid understanding and experience in Employment Relations, Performance Management, Learning and Employee Engagement.
In addition to this, you will have the below:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in HR, training or equivalent
- Minumim 4+ years’ experience in a generalist HR advisory role or HR Business Partner role
- High levels of initiative, emotional intelligence and the ability to create and maintain strong, positive working relationships at all levels
- Proven experience in managing employment in a unionised environment
- The confidence and HR knowledge to provide immediate practical support and advice
- The drive and enthusiasm to make a difference and support people to effectively lead and manage teams
