This is a boutique client-side consultancy that specialize in managing water projects for their clients. Being smaller, they are offering flexibility, a non-corporate culture and space to manage your workload with autonomy whilst developing your client relationships. They have contracts in place with a strong forward work pipeline and are now gearing up to service these contracts with recruiting both a senior project manager and an intermediate project manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage water, wastewater, and stormwater projects on behalf of the client
- Oversee project planning, design coordination, procurement, and delivery
- Manage consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure projects meet scope, budget, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and risk assessments
- Support business case development and funding submissions
- Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement mitigation strategies
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, including councils, iwi, landowners, and community groups
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience delivering water, wastewater, or stormwater infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of client-side project management and governance
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working with consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and consenting processes
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- Tertiary qualification in engineering, project management, or related field
What’s on Offer:
Intermediate Role: $110K - $120K
Senior Role: $145K - $155K + vehicle
