Where I’m from:  Wairoa/Mahia Peninsula, New Zealand

My professional background: I attended St Pat’s College, Silverstream with the goal of becoming a New Zealand Chartered Accountant. I achieved this by completing a Bachelor of Commerce & Administration (BCA) at Victoria University, and then completed the CAANZ criteria with Audit New Zealand to become a New Zealand Chartered Accountant.  After eight years in the auditing and accounting industry, I realized I was destined for bigger and better things so I entered the recruitment arena where I have been for the past ten years.

Why I’m passionate about my role at Beyond Recruitment: I’m passionate to be part of building the local construction industry by supporting key clients to source the best talent resources. This in turn helps their businesses meet their strategic and successful outcomes.

What not many people know about me: My three loves. My partner, my children, and Gladys (my boat) – she loves to nail the Hauraki Gulf Snapper.

What I love about Aotearoa, New Zealand: Heaps! The freedom. No dictators running the country, blissful beaches, dramatic scenery, and good mates.
