Opportunity to provide Māori advice, guidance and support to tangata whai i te ora and their whanau, undertake cultural assessments, cultural interventions and can support the cultural development of the wider team.

This is in the health sector- and role will suit someone who is proficient in Te Reo Māori (doesn't have to be fluent speaker) and has a good understanding of Māori values and beliefs. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Improve the capacity for health staff to engage with Māori
• Develop and lead cultural interventions to support tangata whai i te ora on their wellness journey
• Support Kaumatua
• Support measurement of cultural outcomes
• Build and maintain relationships to support improved outcomes

You will work closely with Māori community, heath providers, Māori providers, government agencies and health services/hospital staff.
