We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Officer to join a positive working environment, grow your career, and earn what you deserve.

About the role:

  • Managing MRP Daily purchasing activities, including: Raising of purchase requisitions & creating purchase orders
  • Weekly expediting of purchase orders with suppliers
  • Manage the Purchasing inbox
  • Negotiate best purchasing package (in terms of quantity & price) if demand is below what was negotiated by the procurement team with the suppliers
  • Inventory stock level optimization
  • Ensure all supplier contract data is loaded & updated as necessary on the ERP system’s contract pricing module
  • Ensure all stock related purchase order receipts are done in “real-time”
  • Attaching all relevant documentation to transactions on Syspro to enable full audit trail abilities
  • Assisting the stores team with some heavy lifting

About you:

  • a minimum of 3 years Purchasing experiencing
  • Knowledge of purchasing concepts and processes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • An intermediate level of excel skills 
  • IT & systems savvy 
  • Customer focused attitude
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Proactive problem solver
  • High attention to detail
