About the role
We’re looking for a contractor with experience using Datapay and a strong understanding of the Holidays Act 2003. The project focus is recalculating annual leave payments for employees whose work patterns have changed over time.
The organisation’s payroll setup presents some complexity around how leave entitlements have historically recorded and calculated. You’ll be working through a structured workflow, addressing issues on a case-by-case basis, with some upstream reporting on project progress.
Key responsibilities
- Recalculate annual leave payments in Datacom Payroll across a multi-year period
- Apply expert knowledge of leave entitlements under the Holidays Act 2003
- Collaborate with NZPPA, who will support the project
- Provide regular updates and progress reports
- Availability, with an ideal start date in September
- Proven experience with Datapay payroll software
- Strong understanding of complex leave scenarios, including leave in days vs. weeks
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently
